Durban Curry is aromatic, robust and
pungent in flavour and uses beef or lamb.
Fry one large chopped onion. Add 600g stewing beef or lamb cut into cubes and 100g of Durban Curry Paste and cook for 5 mins until browned. Stir in 150ml beef stock and 150g tomatoes. Simmer covered for 1-1½ hours until tender. Season to taste. Sprinkle over freshly chopped coriander to garnish. Serve with rice and sambals. |
